There had been quite a number of myths about flight attendants circling around. Well everyone are entitled to their own opinions and we do highly respect that, but then again, there is nothing wrong of also educating people what goes on in the life of a flight attendant.
We have been reading stories and seeing many complaints of passengers against cabin crew members. More so, they do blame flight attendants for every unnecessary commotion on board. Things like “if the flight attendants did their job, then there would not have been this….” and things like that even if the situation is beyond the control of these cabin crew members. We have seen passengers treat these cabin crew members as their butlers, asking them to stow their bags on the overhead bins even if the passenger is physically fit to dead-lift a 100 pound barbel.
A new logo comes a new life. Lately, Flyhigh Manila taken things towards a new direction wherein we will be introducing more lifestyle products, event concepts, and social media platforms for the airline cabin crew market. One of this is WINGS, a discount and privilege card that gives airline cabin crew members discounts and privileges at more than 40 partner establishments nationwide.
Again, another flight attendant was recently sent to the hospital due to lifting of bags unto the overhead bin. Just recently, Maverick Valasote revealed that his flight attendant mother mother sustained injuries due to bag lifting incidents. She will be out of commission for months.
We had always been diligent on our awareness campaign for passengers that cabin crew members are not obliged to lift hand-carry luggage unto the overhead bins unless when deemed necessary like if the passenger is physically challenged. They may ASSIST.
